Peter spent 16 years in the shipping and shipbuilding industries between 1972 and 1988, primarily in CFO positions where he took part in several acquisitions and in the restructuring of these industries. Peter was later on responsible for maritime policy issues heading up the industry department of the Swedish Shipowners´ Association.

Since 1988 Peter has worked as a management consultant in association with PIMS Associates Ltd., London and later also with Malik Management Zentrum St. Gallen. PIMS cross-industry approach has given Peter the opportunity to manage projects in many different industries including construction and building products, forestry and paper, chemicals, oil, defence, branded consumer goods, shipping, telecom, aquaculture and feed science and environmental abatement.

Peter´s areas of expertise lie primarily in strategy development at corporate and business unit level, customer value management, evaluating start-ups and acquisitions and business performance benchmarking.
